Not a fishing yak but might find someone here before I post on CL.

Im a bit of a light weight (160 lbs) for the capcity on this guy and decided to sell.  It sits lower and handles a lot nicer if a drop an extra 30-40 lbs. in the cockpit with me.

Hull and varnish are in real good shape.  Deck is near perfect, hull has one larger scratch (4-5" long) and some minor scuffs from beaching.  No scratches down to the glass and should go for plenty more years before it needs a new coat of varnish.

Best thing about the plywood yaks, it's 17' but only weighs in at 45 lbs!  The hard chines on the hull are also nice IMHO.  You can tip the boat to dig one side in and keep it tracking straight in the wind, no rudder needed.  It's plenty fast and I've never had trouble keeping up with my buddies in their plastic boats.

Asking $600 or will trade for a fishing yak.  Seat, backrest and sprayskirt included.  I'm in East SJ if you want to stop past for a look or arrange a paddle.

man, that's gorgeous. If I had the space for a 17' er, I'd be on it.
14' Necky Dolphin, fast and wiggly, no room for anything.
Old Mitchell reel junkie.
