O neill forebay

Went to the forebay today on the shore and fish under the bridge with no keepers but plenty of small shakers. Too windy

Yup the cali record is from there. Maybe the bit will turn on in a month or so

I have been out there the past 2 weekends on my kayak.  Caught lots of fish but they have all been small too. Is there a time of year   the big fish are more active?

I think mid spring to summer is the better time out there

That means soon I heard when it gets hot the wind picks up. I'm hoping to catch a few big ones before it gets to windy to be out there on my kayak.
