It's 100% the SSL certification which can be provided by the domain host. It was 200$ for our website. I'm just curious why its only now showing up becuase Chrome and others made the announcement like 6 months or so ago.

Encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) used to be special, but now they are considered a standard baseline, and browsers are flagging unencrypted communication as “not secure”.

A lot of hosting platforms offer free SSL certificates now, thanks to the efforts of Let’s Encrypt.

They just found out that the data and GPS coordinates for the secret spots belonging to everyone on this forum has leaked and now this site is no longer secure. It is not known at this time who stole this data, but there is strong evidence that suggests the responsible party is currently eating your fish.
