Will Pt. Arena be open on April 1st for rock fish?  The Department of Fish and Wildlife map is vague...Anybody have access to a better map? Thanks, Ron

Use this map:

https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/fishing/ocean/regulations/fishing-map

Click on where you want to fish. In the case of point arena, it is the border between two management zones with different opening dates.  BRing your GPS and fish on the correct side of the line. Also check for MPAs. I am not familiar with that area.
