Hi kayakito,

There's that old saying: "Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will never go hungry." So in that vein, rather than just answer your question, here's some advice on how to find out what you need:

First of all, there's a whole section here devoted to places to launch:   http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?board=4.0

Then there's Google. Why not try "california kayak fishing launch" as a search string. Lo ahd behold, the second URL down is the CA DFG publication on this very subject. There are names, latitude and longitude, as well as a link to a photograph on the California Coastal Records Project. Once you know some of the known areas, use the search function here to look at what people have to say on this subject. If you search outside of this website, maybe you'll even find areas that haven't been hit by kayakers before. Or at least not fished and publicized.

Regards,
Scott

Without knowing your kayaking experience or what your general water knowledge is most people would be hard pressed to suggest a launch spot.  The entire coast between SC and HMB holds fish but it can be remote and unforgiving on the wrong days.  I would suggest hooking up with someone for your first forrays into the area.  JMO.
