I have a 1997 Jayco 10 and I used the Yakima mounts as close to the edge as possible. I used steel pipe instead of the Yakima bars and wrap them with surfboard wraps. Holds 2 Hobie Outbacks and is easy to load.

I would have it dont by a dealer so its would be covered if it leaks. That what I did for my trailer. It will cost a lot more to have them do it like anything done by dealer but campers are easy to mess up.

The mounts look good did you have any problem with the insulation ?
Did you add any material to help support the bars from the inside ?
I’m not worried about leaking I have a matierial to handle that.
It looks like you have perhaps the same trailer as the one I picked up mine being a 99 Starcraft starflyerg
Or at least made the same way same small wheels same exterior and
Lites excitra  has
Same technology or structure nice little camper very nice for five hundred bucks
I may put biter wheels on it if I can without to much effort

No problem with insulation. I think I replaced the originals with stainless bolts, nuts, and washers. Inside the camper I made some plates out of some aluminum the width and length to function as backing. Painted those to match the inside camper roof. You could use those inside bolts to hook to for some small accessories perhaps, just make sure it won't wear a hole in your canvas when the top is down. I also added eyebolts to each end of the trailer to attach bow and stern lines in case the rack failed. You can see the stern ones in the photo. Also made a wood support for the center of the rack to keep it from flexing too much. Been using it for 8 years with no problem!

Full time Rv’er here, dicor over your roof hardware and in inch or two of the feet that hit the roof, 8-10 years before you gotta re coat. I have replaced a whole Rv roof, not fun but not that difficult either. Dicor is your friend.

As for a shower, they make portable outdoor ones and you could get an on demand Rv water heater and build a portable housing for it. They run on 12 volts and propane baby!!!!

You can purchase track in any length from below
I used this track to attach to top of pop up truck camper.
You can then use std roof cross bars and relocate as needed as you change kayaks etc
Look at the ceiling from inside for clearance etc

I contacted my camper manf to find out were the roof structure was solid for mounting. Some roofs are hollow and filled with foam for insulation. Need solid for mounting
You can also use a nice piece of wood etc on inside to help stiffen the roof
Install all fasteners wet and put sealant on bottom of track when mounting to keep any moisture out
Easy job but time consuming for proper layout
Note tie down of kayaks using std straps and around the cross bars

Has anyone here stored their kayaks right-side up? (Opposite of SFHarry's photo)

Almost finished building out my trailer, storage/connection will be my last item

I did it with my Big Tuna on Malone Seawings..... put 4 good size oil can dents on my hull... so I ran two 1X4 cedar planks on the wings and let it sit on that, WAY better. YMMV! (Your Mileage May Vary). Then I built a trailer and they go gunwales down now. I can wrangle up a picture to post if you need one.
