Wow, big news John!! That is really cool. I didn’t even know you were a restauranteur! I was in Austin for a week last summer and it was a fun town. Seemed like lots of outdoor/fishing opportunities too. I hope the biz is uber successful. And you can borrow one of my yaks whenever you return to CA, but you have to pick it up in Monterey

It was only 10 years ago that I bought my first ever yak from you, the pretty yum yum yellow T140.  You helped me catch my first RF that day (albeit it was tiny and my only fish of the day...) Yeah, so you better hook me up with a buddy yak in Monterey... thx for the best wishes.

My only regret is that I never got to fish in your back yard... but I'll always have your taco recipe! Ebisu will open in July/August, and address is 13376 Research Blvd, Austin, TX.  The address also goes by 13376 N. Hwy 183, Austin, TX.  If all goes well, should start on the 2nd project in early 2020.

Sorry to see your kayak go but congrats on the new business!  Let me know if you ever need to borrow my kayak, when you're visiting!

I bin 2 austin 1nce but only 2 visit COTA for the f1 races.  nice place.  just google mapt it and realizd that colorado rivr runs rt thru town!  that's wer the bats fly thru and stuff i gess?  PM'ing u
