Central Coast Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting Schedule

As I posted previously, the committee that will recommend the network of Marine Protected Areas for the Central California coast between Pigeon Point and Point Conception has started its work. The recreational fishing community is represented by Howard Egan of RFA and Ben Sleeter of Coastside. We've done good work so far - the CenCal Launch Sites List was an important step towards protecting our kayak fishing access.

It is up to us to monitor the process by either attending meetings, watching them in real time on the net, or watching / reading the archived records later. Then if we feel our interests are not being protected it is up to us to submit public comment. The meeting schedule is posted below. I hope you will lend a hand and your perspective.
