Hobie dungee/rock trip 2/7/19

Finally the weather calmed enough for a trip with friends out to Half Moon Bay.  Relaxing day on the water.  We threw back quite a few dungeness that were 1/4" too small.  Hopefully they'll be ready in a month or so?!  I think I ate atleast two crabs this evening. 

The rock crabs will most likely become a spicy ceviche salad at a later date.....

Nice! I still need to figure out how to get those rock crabs to let go of the ring net. Last time out I gave up and sent him back down.

I hear ya... some of the rock crabs must go to yoga class, they'll reach from all angles just to try and grab hold of a finger... 

Great haul! I need to go crabbing again. I usually go to Bodega Bay. Maybe I should try Half-moon Bay next time.
