Sturgeon Catch/Cook Video (Smoking Sturgeon)

Launched from China Camp on 1/26 around 9AM with a crew of NCKA bros to slightly choppy conditions. Got to our spot out past rat rock and set our anchors up. We were marking a bunch of fish and catching a good amount of diaper stripers until the tide changed. It had been pretty quiet for an hour when I got what looked like a striper bite. It kept pecking at it for about a minute before I set the hook. Felt like I missed before suddenly getting really heavy. Fish on! Successfully netted and with the help of RiverwatcherLT confirmed it was in the slot.

I put together a video of my brining/smoking process for the sturgeon. This is my favorite way of preparing sturgeon and I hope this helps anyone looking to smoke one in the future!
