AOTY & DOTY Awards Ceremony on 3/30/19 @ Berryessa!

I can't make the awards cuz it's my wife's birthday weekend but know you all will have a great time and look forward to seeing the pics and hearing the stories.

Bummed you won't be there, Jim...

But using your wife's birthday as an excuse to stay home to enjoy the upcoming great weekend diving conditions is questionable!  jk jk.

Family first. I definitely jive with that. 

Well on the plus side, at least 4 of the top 5 NCKA Assholes will be at the ceremony.

Annie reminded me today about her winning the DOTY 2017 smallest fish award...

I put together the DOTY presentation notes for PK, and turns out she got the smallest fish in 2018 as well.

I mean... thats actually a pretty impressive shot to have hit the fish in center mass!

I’m sad to miss it.  Looks like the weather will be good too.

Right on! It’s going to be a fun weekend
I expect the awards ceremony to happen in the area of sites #1-22. Starting around 12-1pm and ending by 3pm..? We don’t want to take up too much time and know everybody would rather be fishing/camping/eating. Plus, we want to be respectful of the Fish & Chill vibe...thanks again Ricci.
That said, we will probably need a few extra tables to display the prizes & awards...and potluck food...if anybody can bring one.

Hey, I don’t want to ruin the surprise but I’m super excited to announce that the 2018 AOTY & DOTY Big Fish awards (for the largest of each species) are made by Amadeo Bachar this year!! These may end up being the best Big Fish awards yet.
So, if you caught the biggest of any AOTY or DOTY species in 2018, you better show up to the awards ceremony!
