AOTY & DOTY Awards Ceremony on 3/30/19 @ Berryessa!

The awards ceremony for our 2018 AOTY & DOTY competitions will be held on Saturday March 30 at Lake Berryessa’s Steele Park campground.
This is what we honor the top competitors and award prizes. Plan to spend the night or spend the day with us, celebrating the accomplishments of our fellow anglers & divers!

Holy Moly! Monsta Cab!   

WOO HOO!  Got the green light to camp on Saturday night. I'll aim to be up there by late morning Saturday, then camp Sat night.

I'll bring the yak, but I don't have much top water gear. Thanks to the couple of guys that said the would let me use some of theirs! Looking forward to tagging along with someone that knows what they're doing... I only get fish with a spear gun! haha

Also, anyone have some space on their camping spot? I can split $$ with ya! Pat said he might have space and Antonio might as well? Looking forward to fish and chill FAC!!!

Let me know if anyone needs me to pick up or bring up anything from the Monterey area (I have an SUV with plenty of room. I'll bring something for the potluck too.

I expect the awards ceremony to happen in the area of sites #1-22. Starting around 12-1pm and ending by 3pm..? We don’t want to take up too much time and know everybody would rather be fishing/camping/eating. Plus, we want to be respectful of the Fish & Chill vibe...thanks again Ricci.
That said, we will probably need a few extra tables to display the prizes & awards...and potluck food...if anybody can bring one.

Hey, I don’t want to ruin the surprise but I’m super excited to announce that the 2018 AOTY & DOTY Big Fish awards (for the largest of each species) are made by Amadeo Bachar this year!! These may end up being the best Big Fish awards yet.
So, if you caught the biggest of any AOTY or DOTY species in 2018, you better show up to the awards ceremony!

I have 4 tables to bring like last year.

I really wish I could make the ceremony. My father in law is taking the entire family to Hamilton that day and there’s no way I could beg off and go fishing without risking divorce, child support, alimony, etc.

I'll try to grab a table or two providing they fit in the back of the SUV. I can easily get the tables, its just transporting them. So if anyone from the Monterey area has a truck, I can get you as many tables as you need. PM me. STOKED for the ABachar awards!
