I’ve had lots of close ones over the years, one of which was being passed within arms length by a big boat moving at full throttle outside the jaws at HMB. I took a chilly swim on that one but was lucky that’s all it was

Should make it clear this is about keeping up awareness, not about churning up the usual bull.... animosity toward boats and all the other pointless nonsense

I read most of the article, but skimmed some to see if there was any reason given for why the boat ran him over? Consequences? Outcome?

The story is somewhere in the archives. It was a DWI/DUI and I’d also be interested to know what consequences befall the perpetrator.
