It all started when Anita said if I clean the bathroom, I can fish, so the bathroom's clean and here's what happend next..got on the water at 11, to a big swell, bigger that I thought, when I launched, I got a few facefulls of water ( made me laugh and it tasted good) when I got out a hundred yards the swell was huge, not breaking but talllll.
I was rigged for a salmon hunt, troll and mooch w/ mono and rockfish with 50 lb braid., and a few miles trolling, but when I got to the outside it was a roller coaster so mooch I went, lots of baitballs, then Butchie PB showed up and did the same thing, a PB last week nailed a few salmon in the 30 lb range last week RIGHT off Muir. No action for the kings so I headed for more protected grounds on the north shore.
On my first pass BAM goes cabbie in 12 feet of water. Stuck out for another hour, went outside again, crazy ocean, no hits after that, had a great landing.

Nice report.  Cabbies are cool fish.  They always give me the impression that they are smiling at me.

Nice report Ben.
I LOVE it when I see guys paying a Party Boat to fish when I am pretty much right next to them in my yak. ESPECIALLY when I am out fishing them. :smt003

Thanks for satisfying my need for a fresh ocean interaction.  I needed a fix.  Nice water and meal shots.   :smt001  So you eat the cheeks raw after cooking the head?  or inject some spices or garlic or something?
