Wife was fed up with me bitchin' about the seals not working all the time on our foodsaver.  So she just bought some industrial strength monster for xmas!
Have to add a bit of lard or canola oil every other time or so to get the seal to be tight.  So it works, but if you really want it to work perfectly you need to change out the rubber seal things. I know you can order them.

But it works, its free.
You pick it up in either San Rafael this week, or Fairfax next or the following.
