Hello everyone!

My name is David, I am a Sacramento native, and my first time fishing was when I was 6 (recently turned 22 in September). Since then, I have gone fishing here and there with my family, but I never really picked it up on my own until I was 18. Fresh out of high school, I have had countless trips to Gold Bluffs beach for surf perch, countless trips to the Sacramento Delta for stripers and bass, countless trips to the Cosumnes River Preserve for bass, countless trips to Folsom Lake, Lake Amador, Lake Pardee, etc., I have been to Timber Cove a few times and recently caught my first keeper LINGCOD this year, and a few trips to the Sierra Nevadas for native fresh trout. I don't fish the bay as much as I should but I recently started a youtube channel to share my adventures and would like to expand my knowledge on fishing. Any tips and suggestions would be welcomed and grateful. As a long term goal in this group, I would like to pick up fly fishing and a pedal drive kayak within a few years.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and happy fishing!
