Ok, so it's non-refundable, but - I doubt they will go outside in those conditions. I'd think they would offer a re-schedule at a minimum if they choose not to go out.

Could there be an in-bay possibility? I don't know what the conditions inside would be with that forecast, or if it's fishable inside.

Have you called 'em?

Call them and talk to them. Ask for a re-schedule. Tell them you want what you paid for which is ocean crab/rockfish, not an inside-the-bay winter desperation effort.

I was on a party boat once, going to the Farallons for rockfish, but the wind kept us inside the Bay. It was March or April I think, so not a good time for halibut, but the skipper convinced the majority of the people on board that we could go halibut fishing instead. If we'd caught even a few fish, everyone would have had to pay for a day of fishing.

Thankfully the wind got worse and the boat got skunked so we all got to re-schedule.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

I would call them, I was scheduled on a lobster trip a couple of years ago down south and the weather was rough. They offered me a different day, but ended up refunding me since I wasn't local.

I'm gonna show up at 5am .   I did call and tried to reschedule first thing no dice.   The skipper and the deck hand are cool dudes.   I got ginger root and Dramamine.   Will report back.
