I'll make sure to have a little sake, good call.  Mostly can't wait to smoke the collars and huge belly meat...my favorite!

Went out of Bragg with my buddy Capt. Ron in his PB.  There are a lot of salmon out there but they are still largely un-yakable...at least for the mortals...go gettum blue and Stu.

We caught our fish in about 350-380 feet of water straight out from the harbour.  Trolled with about 175 feet of wire off the downrigger, LOADS of bait between 150-200 feet.  This fish was a fat tank in the 25-30 pound class, we also boated a nice 12#r and then the kids had a tough day at the rail and lost quite a few more.

Ron is well, I hadn't hung out with him in a while either.  He is leaving the Whaler in Bragg for the summer.  Expect more salmon to die.

We ate about 1/2 feeding 12 people at the house...that thing yielded a pile of meat!
