Howdy!

New to the forum.

My first kayak is a 2012 Hobie Revo 13’. It is not particularly well outfitted for fishing. (Any recommendations on how to mount rod holder, down rigger, and fish finder?) My first weekend on the boat landed two rainbow trout and a honker!!

While I started off with the pedal drive, I certainly don’t consider myself bound. I have borrowed paddle boats, and enjoyed paddling, especially in the kelp paddies and in moving water.

I am seldom a purist.  I catch fish with flies on my spinning rod and worms on my fly rod. I do what it takes.

Tight lines!!

Hobie Revo 13

Welcome to the forum Pescadero! I share your open minded angling beliefs, and enjoy thinking out of the box in order to give the fish what they want. I like your example of a fly on a spinning rod, and a worm with a fly rod. Been there, done that, will do it again.  :thumright:

Welcome, fellow Hobie owner.
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
