Hey I just purchased a Hobie Revolution, swithcing over from a previous paddle kayak. My Name is Vadim and i fish for everything mostly based out of Sacramento, i am looking to get into the bay area and ocean fishing more. Hey, yeah i fish both rivers consistently. I mainly target striper, sturgeon, salmon, shad on the sacramento river. For the Ar I usually go for Salmon, steelhead and shad. Of course i have bycatch of catfish crap and other species which i mostly release. Late september i landed a salmon off my kayak on the Ar.

Hey for the Sac river i put in at Verona, im familair with that area because i fished there alot by boat. for the Ar i put in at hazel fish hatchery, Sunrise Boat ramp, sunrise walkway bridge. Howe, Harrington. Just anywhere within walking distance.

Fished the American for Steelhead these past few days with some luck. To many people and a lot of boat traffic putting in at Sailor Bar. A lot of fly fisherman, baitcasters and spin reel action.
