Hoping to take my TI on the bay hoping to see whales etc.
I have never launch from Moss landing I am looking for tips from experienced.

Tides are pretty good for Friday. Launch before the low tide bottoms out @ 7am and return before high tide peaks @ 1:05pm. Returning after 2pm would be difficult because there will be a lot of water flowing out of the harbor as it goes from a high of 5.4ft @ 1:05pm to a low of 0.08ft @ 8pm...that’s a pretty big tidal swing.
