What do you all do if you are camping or traveling with your Kayak?  Do you have a way of locking it to your truck,  or do you always take it down and put it "inside" somewhere?

When camping, I usually just leave it on the car or in the campsite and it's fine, but a lock and cable is never a bad idea.
I use two of these on my TI when it's on my car on the street:

I run a chain through a scupper hole and lock it on the D ring on the bottom of my truck.

Simple bike cable lock will deter the opportunist thief. One saved my kayak a few years back. I use them whenever the kayak is out of sight on my pickup.

I use a masterlock python cable. They are great.

Cable lock it to the picnic table it you’re worried about leaving it in camp. I always cable lock it to my truck when it’s in it.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan
