Earlier I got a hook stuck in it, so I turned it off to remove the hook ....... My dumb ass forgot to turn it back on Lol!!!

Interesting detail. Sorry you had that happen, seems like (anecdotally at least) the SS was effective prior to shut-off. It is that time of year now.

Damn Eric.  Glad ur ok.   What was encounter like?  Inquisitive bite or aggressive ? There was a lot of activity out there on Tuesday.  Whales, birds, sea lions,  even seen a pretty large dorsal at first I thought maybe orca but maybe something else?
