Hey North CA  anglers!  Has this ever happened to you ?
Good old  barking dog get a hold of one of your prized fish ,Or maybe follow your boat until you drop a fresh bait ?  I know it’s all happened to me and seen 2 nice halibut lost on the wharf yesterday what are your thoughts on the old for bag population .  Is it time to open season as this article about to read is taking about? Let me know what you think. Thanks all Ed loves 2 fish out......

kinda starting to wonder what the legality of hitting them with a taser might be? Had several close encounters over the years where a taser might have Taught the beast some respect. As far as culling goes, We wouldn't get to do it. DFG would probably do the actual culling (sad 'cause seal meat might be good!)

I have tried using the Jedi Mind trick on them, "this is not the fish you desire," suffice to say it hasn't worked. Then I thought of the Army Warrant Officer method, throwing a pipe at them...lol, but then I recalled DFG frowns on that.

I would be all over an archery season, and if not I do like the taser idea. The sound of it alone makes dogs and bears stop in their tracks. I carry one when hunting elk in Montana.
