Camo vs Visibility in color of kayak?

How awkward is it to come across a shark that color profiles? 😂

I've added stripes on the bottom...worked so far.

I definitely feel a lot safer being in my yellow kayak knowing boats can see me easily. I dont care about sharks, come and get me

if you are going fresh water flat colors may work better, but when a 40 foot trawler, or big old deep vee with twin 250's is screaming out of the harbor on his cell phone closing a deal,  is coming at you full bore in a light fog, there is something to be said for bright colors, or colors that can be seen from a further distance.

The only time I had a close call with a PB I was in a bright lime green kayak.
