Hey Guys,

Is anyone fishing this upcoming Saturday? (August 18)

I am new to Kayak Fishing. I have been fishing in Tomales Bay for the last 4 weekends & I am having a blast.

I would love to tag along if somebody is going Hali, Striper or Rock Fishing. Or any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thank you and have a great week!!

Rod

How has tomales bay been prodding for you?
May not always catch a big fish off the kayak. But will always catch an adventure.

Iv'e managed to catch 5 shaker Halibut & 1 Striper in the last 4 weekends.
Live bait has been no problem for the exception of Sunday 7-22-18. Not sure what was going on but i couldn't catch an anchovy to save my life.

Love Tomales.  You're catching...that's fishin'...

I'm also thinking about heading out to the sonoma coast for rockfish. Let me know what you guys decide,  I'll probably join.

Let me start out by saying thank you to NCKA!!

This has been an amazing site for me to gather information as I am new to kayak fishing as well as meeting fellow fisherman!!

Mike, Craig, David and I met at Ocean Cove Saturday morning at 0630. Headed out of the cove & turned south as Mother Nature allowed this as the ocean was flat calm. "What a Beautiful Day"

We all came back with nice rock fish and a few nice lings!!

Okay....So who is fishing this Saturday (August 25)??????

It was a great day!! The ocean was perfect and it was nice to meet some guys that enjoy fishing as much as I do.
Nice pics Craig. I was happy for you and jealous at the same time.  :smt005
Dave- I can not go Saturday but Sunday is open....
My buddy landed a 50lbs White Sea bass on his yak in Tamales last weekend.   hmmmm
