Put in at the north ramp and headed down the east shoreline until I got to crappie cove. The wind was up and I had fought chop all the way.  Mr Hopper was already there for striper school but was fishless until we had both decided to do one more drift and head home, then he hooked up with this battler.
After that I headed back to the northend, the water turned glassy so I trolled until about 10 pm. Great moon on the water and alot of low flying bats but no striper action for me.

Thanks for the pic, Terry...and thanks for the props, Adam.

It was especially sweet 'cause like Terry mentioned we had decided on one last drift and that's when I got slammed. Plus the added bonus of the fish hitting my 8lb. rig.

The striper hit a slow trolled live minnow fished deep near the entrance of CC and fought like a champ. After a little photo op and some TLC it swam off to go do whatever big, healthy stripers do.

Crappie Cove was pretty crappy yesterday with lots of free floating moss to cling to your sinker.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Nice report and pic! I was on the water at 0600 hours after failing to make bait. I was only out for about 45 minutes before I had to go home and get warm. I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt, and with the fog and lite wind....burrrrr!

Had planned to hook up with you Terry, but by the time I got to Sean's house and drank a couple of beers, It was almost 9.

Get you next time!

CHEERS!
