Heard about upgrading the pull handles to a smaller length and was a less to get a pair from Allan Cross; but decided to see if I can make a cheaper version and here what I came up with. Less than $6.00 for all the parts: 2  nylon bolts and 2 nylon T handles... and a little bit of clear epoxy!

This is a great upgrade! I have an 180 too and the long handles always get in my way all the time, usually hitting my feet. Thanks for posting!

That’s pretty cool. If I ever upgrade to the 180 drive, I’ll do this mod.

In general, I use nylon for everything I can on my kayak, as it’s virtually indestructible.
