Berkeley Pier Launch Site

Where is the best launch site to fish the Berkeley Pier area?

 Right @ the marina,  I've never done this yet, but it looks like just pull up and launch,  $5 to park your car or just pull it out to the street aprox 100 yrds away for free...........Danglin

I didn't know you had to pay to launch from the dock on the south of the marina.  I always just did it.  Never paid to park at the pier, why pay to park just down the road?

I think if ya got a boat trailer and park by the launch, they want to charge ya, I lived in the

  " Peoples republic of Berkeley " for 5 years and still would average 5 parking tickets a year,

  Logic and Berkeley do not Mix
