Garmin Striker Plus 7sv

Hey guys,
Has anyone used a striker plus 7sv for their yak? I'm looking for a fish-finder and think that this could be a great option, but I'm unsure about the gps function. Has the internal gps function been a problem for people?

The 7sv looks like a good deal for a 7” unit with side scan. I’ve been going back and forth between the lowrance 5” with sidescan or spending $100 more to get this Stryker 7sv...

Any comparisons between the lowrance and Garmin units? The Hummingbird side scan looks really good too, but seems more expensive...

It does seem like a great deal, and all the reviews I've read say that gamins detail is super good.

Seems like the only difference between Lowrance and Garmin is that Lowrance has the capability to have Navionics maps plugged in. But the Garmin has the ability to do contour maps (develops maps for you as you move) so I guess I'm just gonna have to fish more to build a map of my lake
