Hi Everyone,

Just joined, but I've been fishing/kayak fishing for a while now. Got my Pompano 120 about 8 years ago while living in Santa Cruz and spent a lot of time on it, and in the Capitola Pier rental boats, out in those local waters.

Living back in the East Bay now (El Sobrante) and spend most of my time fishing halibut out of Alameda or down at the San Pablo reservoir. Looking to try out some new areas like Berkeley Flats, Tomales Bay, and Richardson Bay if I can find the time and cooperating wind (tried Berkeley last weekend and got blown off by 6:00 am--a first) or head back down to the Santa Cruz/Capitola if I can find some folks to go with, as I think a group would make my wife less worried about the slight uptick in shark activity down there the past few years.

I'm super grateful for all the fishing advice I've been given over the years, so I'm always happy to spread the knowledge.

Tight lines y'all!
Doug
