I am a Fishing addict. I went to Cabo and paddled on a sit on top I have no clue what kind it was.  My question is; I am 6'3" 240 I want a fishing Kayak that is stable in faster water The kings can turn a boat quick and I don't want to swim in our cold water. I'm so excited about Kayak fishing I just nailed a 45lb king while in a float tube(what a rush) so I know that a it will be a wild ride in a Kayak. Any Suggestion?

Fish N Dive XF

This is the boat that started it all. The FND is the original in its class, and has recently been updated to make it more fishing friendly than ever before. Recent additions include flat surfaces for flush mounts, and a recess in the tankwell for a bucket or a large marine battery. The FND is ideal for use with an electric trolling motor.

While some consider the FND to be relatively slow by today’s standards, it still has more stability and cargo capacity than anything else out there. If you’re not in a hurry, like to bring a lot of stuff, or just want a fool-proof boat for your inexperienced guests, look no further than the FND.

Got Stuff? Bring it on! This boat has room for it all and a kid! The bow of the FND has a molded rear-facing jump seat. The center hatch on the FND is the biggest in the business.

I believe Sean / Scwafish has this in stock at his store: http://www.gwkc.com/kayaks.htm

Check out the Malibu X-Factor.  It's a good combination of stability and speed.  I haven't paddled the FnD, but I do paddle one of the most stable boats on the market (Cobra Triple) so I know what stability is.  And I know what SLOW is too.  The X-Factor is indeed a stable boat that has good speed.  It's not as fast as a Prowler, but it's fast enough.

In fact, I just bought 2 of them.  One for me, a bigger person at 6'3", 210#, and one for my less experienced paddling girlfriend.  Scwafish Sean sold me mine as well.

Both the FND and the X-factor are super stable, but the X is MUCH faster, while the FND is more stable.  We have sold a bunch of eXtremes and X-Factors to guys your size with nothing but rave reviews.  I am not exactly tiny myself and have paddled both a ton.  Lately my butt has been warming the seat of an X-factor te most.

The FND is not that popular up here but they are VERY popular in So Cal.  Everytime I go south I am amazed at the number of FNDs on the water.

Is it because that maybe the So Cal guys don't have to paddle as far to get to the fishing holes as we do here in Nor Cal?  :smt017

In some places definitely, but I saw a bunch of them at LJ and its a pretty decent paddle.  Not really sure, but they are definitely one of the most popular boats down there.
