I suspect it's the clown vomit color scheme that might be the source of hesitation here. Sheesh, kids and their "aesthetics". Funny thing is the kid's mom is probably only 70-80% of the rated capacity of that boat, so it'd be more of a family yak!

I actually did pass this on and encouraged him to take a look at the boat a bit more online, which he did, and they've reconsidered.
