For some reason while watching the vid, Giancarlo Thomae came to mind.  He's a naturalist/photographer and kind of crazy.  has some good skills though and is sincere.  He is the guy who took this awesome shot of me and a humpback a few years ago in Capitola.  In the SFGate article, yup there's his name!

I am dismayed that he is only wearing shorts no pfd etc...And, I'd not be surprised if the entire vid is a setup for publicity promotion both for Thomae as well as Specialized Copters.  I admire both anyway, but.......

It looks like he dropped his glasses.

Ok, let me show you the snapshots...

Pic1:  He jumped in and heading toward the 2 white pads on bottom of picture (there are 3 total).
Pic2:  He swam toward the 2 pads.
Pic3:  He got the 2 pads and paddling toward the last one.
Pic4:  He's at the third pad.
Pic5:  He picked up the last pad.

in his interview view on channel 2 he said he dropped his glasses. As for the three white pad it was his paddle and a hat.

Promo stunt for the drones.  If I dropped my glasses and knew sharks were circling then they could have them.

You need to drop the mic and come back next year because you're good for the rest of this one.

A Shart is no laughing matter if you are the sharter.
Now if your buddy is the shartee then by all means let him have it.
There's no reason to "Get Bent" over this since its all in jest.  :smt001
