Fishing Bar Harbor Maine

My wife and I will be vacationing in Bar Harbor Maine next month. I was wondering if anybody had any experience or information regarding saltwater fishing in this area. Our rental cottage has very convenient water access (http://www.edgewaterbarharbor.com/index.html).  I have found kayak rentals and am considering bringing some fishing gear.
