Based on your question Tim, I assume the regs DID change...because you used to be limited to 2 hooks or less for striped bass. :-)

that just gave me an idea.  im going to try this next time instead of a 6oz or 8oz cannonball

ive handcrafted these in 6oz and 8oz. perfecta
