New to this group.  Looking at starting kayak fishing - have seen a ton of youtube videos, and it appears to be a blast.
I am looking at a Hobie Mirage.

Are there groups that get together and fish?  Was thinking half moon bay for rockfish and maybe a ling, and maybe the delta or some nearby lakes to start.

Any guidance?

Welcome to NCKA!
Lots of info on this site. Please browse and search.

Lots of hookups posted on the forum. Don’t be shy to join a hookup. Practice on the lakes before heading out in the ocean.

Be safe!

Any guidance?

As P-Sherman (of 42 Wallaby Way) said, spend a while searching the site and you'll find lots of great info, Americanman.

Btw, any relation to American Maid?
