Lokking for spots to launch and fish in Mendocino

Hello,
I'm going to Mendo this weekend and have camped and fished out of VannDamm state park and beach, but that's about it. Any suggestions on other great locations in and around Mendo to launch the USS Battleship Big Game and slay some fish? Thanks Mike

Good spot, just remember that fishing is currently closed until June 1 except for salmon and spearing.  If you go ab diving fill your card out on the yak before heading in or the warden there will try and get you...BTDT.

Thanks, I did not know that? So rockfish does not open until June up there huh?
