I hooked my bicep with a Whopper Plopper (they have heavy gauge treble hooks) not too long ago.  Glad I watched a YT video before hand on how to remove hooks.  Basically, pushed on the shank hard in the right direction and it popped out without any pain.

I had to get a hook out of my friends back, we were amazed at how fkg tough skin is.... closer to a piece of leather than a cantaloupe hide.
