hey gang this weeks seminar is monterey bay halibut, this includes santa cruz. the seminar will be given by glenn fukumoto and will start at the usual time of 6pm and last about one to one and a half hours. it will be held here at the sanjose store located at

I 'll try to swing by as well - these guys do some really good seminars. Last week, they had one on surf fishing for stripers - unfortunately I missed it.

Interesting seminar.  I learned a couple of new techniques (actually modifications of others) and picked up some clues on some other stuff, and won a raffle prize.

Met Joel and (Insert forgotten name here) and planned our batray assault for the tourney

The seminar was very informative (as usual)- learned a few more Halibut rigs. These guys really know their stuff and are always willing to share their experiences with others - wish we had a tackle shop like this in the San Mateo area  

Chris / Mol = it was nice finally meeting you in person. Ernie / Mendohead and GTO Eric showed up as well. I also bumped into JBFlyfisher - apparently he did not know about this site.

They proposed another tourney in July.  The boat rolls over to that contest.
