I'm in the same boat with you, haven't fish in a while and thinking of crabbing as well. Thanks

Was just about to post a hookup for Thursday or Friday morning.
What's conditions look like?  I haven't dropped pots at HMB before.  Been to Tomales, Bodega, Bolinas, and Muir plenty of times this month with a dungy here and there.  With all the good reports from HMB, I gotta go try now...

Easy peasy compared to Muir or Bolinas.

I see most launch there with a peddle yak...
Would you recommend me going with my OK Trident 13?  I'm reasonably okay with paddling a mile or two, but loaded with crab traps is going to be a slow haul.

Not a hard paddle but it's a bit of distance if you have pots. Rings, not so bad.

I've been out there crabbing on my T-15 a dozen times.

It's only an issue when the wind kicks in then it's a BIG issue.
You better know how to paddle for an hour non stop if so.
It's good exercise   :smt003

I was also planning on being there tomorrow if I can get out of bed.

Gonna drop pots in Tomales or Doran for an overnight soak. Hopefully they’ll be there in the morning. Heard Doran at 40-50’ is productive. Will let you know tomorrow.
