Thanks Scott for the start. It only tells me pier 50. have you launched there? is that were most people go. is the parking there at night OK and do i need to get there early for a spot.i have launched at city kayak to go there but they charge you $25 any more info would be great

I work in China Basin Landing which is next to the ball park across from 3rd st. Since my cube is right next to water, I often see people launching their kayaks next to the parking lot by lifting them down the rocks to the water. To be more clear, this is the waterway in between the 3rd and 4th street bridges.

There's a restaraunt/dive bar called The Ramp just south of Kelly's Mission Rock with there own lot by the ramp.
