last year lapu lapu (uncle rey n my other uncle danny) went aroung thanksgiving I believe.  They got skunked on the crabs.  I'm sure they'll chime in on the boat but probably Randy's.

I always take my daughter on Randy's whom was bought by J&M. I prefer them over Chris's Charters. Good luck!! https://jmsportfishing.com/trips/

When they were Randy's they always offered discounts on TravelZoo - I haven't checked for discounts on this season now that they are J&M. Here's a few pictures from when I took my daughter on the charter boat:

The day after that fishing trip I was SO proud of my daughter that on my way to work I was stuck in traffic on the highway (to Monterey) and while I was sitting in traffic looking at my daughter with her awesome catch I GOT LIT UP - the man pulled my over! :smt013  He said he saw me on my phone and I explained, but officer, I was looking at a picture of my daughter and her Ling she caught the day before. He said he would be right back, he came back with his phone and said "let's see who's is bigger" (lol) we compared pictures of the Lings and my daughters was bigger!! He actually let me go with a warning.
I guess it's true....bigger can be better.  :smt044

Awesome story, and it's possible that guy is on ncka too! :-)

Darius, check the J&M website. Chris' Fishing is good too. They're pretty much all the same. Just look at their calendar for crab combo trips. We did one last December and it was ok, but I kinda dislike the charter boat fishing vibe.

I found it that Chris' is more for fishermens and the old Randy (prior to the new owner) is more for tourists.   If you do go with Randy's (or now J&M), I would suggest to go on the bigger boat (Chubasco).  Also, half a day trip may make a good trip for kids, most of which you will have to pry off the bed at early hours.

Last year 22 anglers where lucky if they got a crab each. Overnight soaks too. Crabbing sucks in Monterey.

Thanks guys, base on the input looks like we will be shore bound. Any good perching spot? Also, does anyone have idea where we can get good deals on M B Aquarium? I'm bringing my grand daughter son, likely my nephew and his wife too. Thanks!
