Hit Lake Solano today, water level was pretty good and weather was great.  Got 3 nice rainbows about 16"s tossing kastmasters into the shadows. Saw a few more taken at the bridge on worms by the local kids.  We got tired of listening to kids bang their oars on the side of the canoes so we paddle up river and saw two things i have never seen before.  German browns were schooling in the deep water, must have been over a hundred that i counted, of course they didn't want to bite anything i had.  After going through every spinner i had, worms, powerbait, and salmon eggs i gave up.  We drifted down river when my buddy told me he saw a "t-top"  I was trying to figure out what he was talking about when i saw it in the water, it was a mid 80's Frankenstein car.  Rear end looked like it was off of a 85 mustang, front looked like a t-bird, thing was 4 different colors.  It was only in about 5 feet of water and we could see all of it, no bodies luckily, but we could see where it had gone over the bank into the water.  So we wrote down the license plate and told the ranger about it.  We figured someone had too many to drink and put it in the water, got scared and ran away.  There is never a dull day around here.

Water is pretty nice right now, we even paddle up to the land of fly fishing, now that's a workout.  We paddle as hard as we could at an angle going back and forth from bank to bank, got some pretty strange looks from some fishermen who had walked into the higher spots.  It's alot nicer then battling the MB's at berryessa.
