I've been trying to resharpen 2 blade broad heads and was advised to give stropping a try. It seems to work, and I've started to do my knives as well. Anybody else?
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

2 stones and a strop all on one board. Sharpen anything!!!
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

I do, bought a stropping block online and it already had the compound on it. I forget the name but can dig it up if you really need it. It's how I keep all of my knives really sharp. Honing rods kind of do the same thing.

Yup, used a straight razor for years.  Any smooth piece of leather should work.  If your edge isn't literally razor sharp, I don't know how much it will help?  I polish my Montecs on my shaving stones, and the edge is shiny smooth.  I can shave my arms with the broadheads without stropping, so I haven't bothered to try.

Use the tag end of my belt all the time to hone up my swiss army knife blades.

I got caught stropping one time in the late 80's.
And again in the 90's.
Hella embarrassing.

Wait....what are we taking about? :smt044

I watched my barber do it when I was eight. Scarred for life.
I didn't realize it was just leather. Still cannot wrap my head around how leather can hone steel, but I guess it does.
I use an accu sharp.

I have a leather belt for my little belt sander.  Works pretty well.

gramma used a razor strap for fine edges
the type of work decides what kind of edge you need
i sharpened an axe to were i could shave with it of course it did not hold an edge like that long
and it would not cut wood well until i changed the edge
glade you made it
now let's get our fish on

The 90s were hella tight.   Thanks for your honesty..... I would have been embarrassed too.
