This past week I was able to get in a quick 3-hour shore dive with a couple good friends. We decided to start the hunt deep and with the amazing 40’ viz we were doing a 2 man up 1 down. As I’m breathing up I hear the distinct sound of a gun go off and Thomas surfacing telling me there is another ling next to his. Quick easy dive down and he was right there pushing me back until I could line a shot right through his mouth!  ;D I added a couple of Blues and Olives to the stringer and we move on. I started messing with the Cabazon’s seeing how close I could get to them. I saw another rest on a nearby hunting ledge and attempted to give him a pet which lead to him to dart off. As I was rising I see a body sleek in behind me and decided that today wasn’t his lucky day LOL  :P. Couple dives later I caught Steve nailing another Cab in a nice ledge. The cold and shivers began to settle in leading to us to call it. As I am heading in I notice a big stack of rocks and give it a quick last scout. Not finding anything and breathing back up a nice 34ish" blue ling came scurrying out. Scared him? Thankfully the viz was still stellar and it was easy to follow him, dive down and took a dome shot.

Enjoy the video!

I don't know if it's a colorblind thing or not, but even when I rewind and watch you descend upon a fish I still don't see it even though I know it's right there.
Great video in a very productive area.
Thanks for sharing.
