I'll take it. But you need to re-think this, as it's a perfect rod for blues....

I'll either be there Thursday or Friday. This will be a good rod for Maggie to use for Bass up at home, as well as for rockies. The 6'2" ML is a bit light when set up with 4 lb test. Though she still managed to catch a 3+ lb largemouth with it a couple weekends ago.

Good mojo on that rod. Maggie picked up a fish with it on Saturday during the half hour she fished from the kayak, and I used it to stick an 18" LMB last night. Of course since I was out for "exercise" and not necessarily fishing, I only brought one Senko for that rod, otherwise I'm sure it would have nailed even more.  Up at Lake of the Pines, it appears the bass are in post-spawn ravenous hunger mode. I tossed a jig/beaver combo on my other rod and picked up 3 more fish in just a few minutes. Sizes ranged from 12-19".

Sunday night kind of makes up for the bucketmouth that managed to toss the spinnerbait on Saturday. I kid you not, this thing looked like it's mouth was 5-6" in diameter and would have been a personal best. When I set the hook, it felt like I stuck it in a log. Next time, I sharpen the hook before each and every outing even if it feels pretty good, and strike two-three times when the fish feels that heavy... It really sucks to see a Personal best flip you bait out of its' mouth...
