Hey guys,

A little bit of a late report but I fished last Saturday out of the kayak and had easy limits of lingcod fishing live bait in 60-90 feet of water. Tried for halibut for a couple hours but couldn't get any to bite. I know there are some around but none for me on this trip. Nice meeting a couple other kayakers out on the water. Made a quick video from the day.
Check it out here:

Thanks for watching!

Yeah I would edit out having the sabiki rod in the water at the same time.

Nice fishies!

Yeah I would edit out having the sabiki rod in the water at the same time.

I believe he tossed that one back. But after keeping one, he does say that he's going to use the sabiki to catch more bait and it seems there might have been more than 2 hooks on that sabiki...
