Last minute decision to head out in the morning -- planning to stop by Bayside and pick up some fresh squid and then head towards Natural Bridges and work my way back. Should be on the water by 7ish. I'm planning to bounce ball for halibut but may switch to RF if there's no action. I'll be on 69 if anyone is out.

Cheers,
Brad

I was out there today and the rockfish/lingcod action was good early, but went dead by 9:30 or 10:00. I was mostly targeting halibut, but only got one shorty.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Got on the water by 7 after a useless stop for fresh squid at Bayside -- he said the supply they got in went fast. Got out to 40' of water and started bouncing a popsicle and headed towards the lighthouse. Picked up a croaker, then had a LDR in the area you recommended NWM (felt like it would have been a shaker though so no loss). Continued up to Mitchells and then back. Ended the day with a keeper ling for dinner. On the way back I saw a keeper halibut landed in the same area as my LDR. Off the water by 1. Nice conditions until the fog burnt off and then the winds started picking up. A few other NCKAers were on the water when i launched -- hopefully they had better luck.

Cheers,
Brad
