I get annual physicals and blood work done for the past five years.

Everything comes back fine.

Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. I've opted for getting stents instead of bypass surgery. Its a good choice for my case medically and its way less invasive. I'll be back otw in weeks.  See you guys at Simply Fishing.

Good catch Ken, good thoughts sent your way, will see you OTW soon. I am buying myself a colonoscopy for my 60th birthday at the request of my wife, I put if off too long already.

Couldn't agree more with the sentiments of this post. Young or old, pay attention to what your bodies are telling you, guys. A colleague's husband (late 30's) had been having some odd stomach pains for a few weeks which he thought was just indigestion. He was rushed to the ER one evening and died later that night. He had been unknowingly suffering with a long-standing infection that lead to sepsis.

That was enough to get me in to the doctor to check out a few lumps and bumps and get a better idea of where i was health wisr.
